The hugely popular title DOA2 WILL be available for those drooling in anticipation over the release of the Next Gen PS2 like we are, so don't fret. Not only that, but DOA2 will launch October 26, the same day the PS2 is set for release, so hold on to your punches, this is exciting stuff. However, the name won't simply be DOA2, the people at Tecmo decided to add hardcore on the end of the title and for good reason. First off there's going to be 10 game modes to choose from, multilevel fighting (open up new areas to a level and continue to duke it out) and some new arenas with very nice graphics. There will also be a large variety of languages to select from. Aside from the game's voiceovers in both English and Japanese, DOA2 allows subtitles during the cut and pre fight scenes in English, Italian, Spanish, French or German. Talk about expanding your audience! There's also going to be some costume changes on the characters, and some of them will be fairly revealing. I'm talking about skin baby, and lots of it! You'll also be able to unlock secret CG galleries (more skin perhaps?) and watch new movies in Cinema mode containing information on where your favorite characters come from and what their purpose is. But one of the coolest new features is the ability to record your fights onto a memory card to show off your battles to all your friends. There's also going to be a "tribute" to Tekken Tag and a character returning from the original DOA, so keep your eyes peeled.
